Logo Design Trends for 2019

Do you know what are the 2019 trends in logo design?

While some trends come and go from a year to another, you don’t need to change your business brand quite as often if you have a well designed and clean logo. However, updating (or at least revisiting) your brand once a few years is essential to keep your brand strong. This doesn’t mean you will have to undergo a major rebrand, with drastic changes. But honestly, a few small alterations can make your logo (and your brand) feel more modern and attract more customers to your business.

Now for 2019, the logo design trends are:

  1. Bright colors
  2. Responsive design
  3. Negative space
  4. Geometric and Minimalist
  5. Illustrations replacing letters

1: Bright Colors

This one has been on the top of the charts for the last years in the graphic design trends. Bright colors can have a true impact on how customers see your logo, because you can use the right colors to send your business message and influence people.

2: Responsive Design

In this digital era we are living, with an increase in mobile platforms, responsive logo design is becoming increasingly important. What do we mean by responsive? A responsive logo is fully scalable for desktop, mobile phone, small and large print. However, it’s not just about resizing it to make it small. It must be flexible and usable in different situations.

3: Negative Space

Using negative space to hide a shape, image, or text in a logo is not new to 2019, but it has surely going to see an increase with the new logos coming to the industry.

4: Geometric and Minimalist

Geometry and minimalism have also been part of the trend in the last few years, and are promised to become even stronger in 2019. They allow businesses a great deal of flexibility, especially in regards to responsive design as geometric and minimalist logos often look good in small and big sizes.

5: Illustrations replacing letters

This is often seen with a single letter replacement, keeping in mind that the illustration should resemble the letter and the text must remains readable.

Now, that’s a great way to start 2019!
