Very frustrating!!!
As things were moving very smoothly, I received an email from Microsoft Azure saying that I had to upgrade my free trial subscription in order to keep building in Azure and continue to use the Speech Recognition API. Said so, my subscription and services were disabled on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018.
With this, and to avoid delaying theings, I have decided to fully move away from this API. I will keep using the Text to Voice (reading) as apparently nothing was affected in my website (fingers crossed it will stay this way). But the voice recognition (speech) portion is no longer activating.
I will be using annyang as I am familiar with at this point, and research other options after everything is place (graphics, audio and speech recognition), and if I have time in the end.
